FireBeetle Covers-LoRa Radio 915MHz

INTRODUCTION

KDRobotKit FireBeetle series are low power consumption controllers designed for Internet of Things (IoT) development. The FireBeetle series are aiming straight at the point fast and convenient low-power IoT building. There are three categories of FireBeetle series, containing Boards (main control), Covers (expansion boards) and related Accessories.

FireBeetle LoRa 915MHz wireless transmission module adopts a high-performance chip SX127x LoRa 915MHz and with built-in PA (power amplifier) gain, compatible with Aruino. It supports long-range monitor, FSK modulation and the maximum transmission rate is 300K[null bps]. It also supports LoRaTM, the maximum transmission rate is 37.5Kbps. The circuit current is even lower than 0.2uA in the low power mode. It can be widely used in remote home automation detection, health monitoring and wearable device and so on.

NOTE: All parameters related to wireless signals in the same network should maintain consistency to avoid communication problems.

FireBeetle Covers - DC Motor & Stepper Driver

INTRODUCTION

KDRobotKit FireBeetle series are low power consumption microcontrollers designed for Internet of Things (IoT) development. FireBeetle Covers-DC Motor & Stepper Driver is a DC motor & Stepper Motor driver designed for FireBeetle Microcontrollers. It can control up to four-channels DC motors / two-phase four-wire stepper motors simultaneously.

The motor driver cover integrates a STM8 as its coprocessor, controlling the motor speed and direction. It communicates with Microcontroller via IIC port, supports up 1000Hz refresh rate. The assisted processor STM8 controls motors and set the main control free. It effectively reduces the dependence on MCU pin resources and MCU occupancy. Independant motor control make the multi-motors projects more affordable. Cooperate with KDRobotKit Arduino Motor Library, it will reduce your development difficulty.

This stepper motor driver adopts 2x TB6612FNG chips and performs excellent in low power consumption application. The consumption current is only 30mA under static state, and motor driver can provide 1.2A output current at 5V and the peak current is 3.2A@5V. Besides, the motor drive supports 4~12V wide-range power input. FireBeetle Covers-DC Motor & Stepper Driver also provides four independent interfaces to drive servo. So, you can control servo directly. It can be widely applied to intelligent car control and gear control.

Gravity: IO Expansion & Motor Driver Shield

INTRODUCTION

Gravity IO Expansion Shield with Motor Driver is a new product designed for Arduino Boards. It combines IO Expansion Shield and DC Motor Driver Shield, equipped with Gravity sensor interface and TB6612FNG dual motor driver. It also has XBee socket, I2C interface and UART port, makes the connections more convenient.

With TB6612FNG dual channel motor driver IC, the shield can drive 2x1.2A DC motors at the same time. It supports PWM speed control, each channel can output 1.2A continuous current and the peak current can reach to 3.2A. It is compatible with majority micro DC motors in the market. It is a solid choice for small intelligent robot controls, convenient and cost-effective.

Gravity: Analog Spear Tip pH Sensor / Meter Kit

INTRODUCTION

This spear tip pH sensor/meter kit can directly stab into semisolid material to measure the pH value. It can be used to measure pH value of wet soil and various foods.

The pH value of the soil is an important factor affecting the growth of plants. Suitable pH value for different plants differ from each other. The pH value of foods, such as fruit, meat and vegetable are also an important indicator of their quality. For example, by measuring the pH value of meat, we can determine whether the meat we bought is fresh or not.

The pH probe of this kit is attached with a spear like protection shield made of stainless steel with a sharp tip. It can be directly stabbed into the soft semisolid material to measure the pH value, such as wet soil or foods. But this can not be done with common pH probe, or it will be damaged.

This kit is Arduino compatible and easy to use. It helps you to quickly build a pH meter to measure the pH value of soil or foods directly.

Attention:
*It is forbidden to measure hard solid samples and semisolid samples containing sharp particles.
*Please keep the plug of the probe, signal transmitter board (especially the BNC connector) clean and dry.
*This pH probe is a laboratory electrode, which is not suitable for prolonged online testing. Therefore, do not immerse the electrode in the measured object for a long time.
*After using the pH probe, please clean it carefully.
*The components of this probe which touch the measured objects have a black ABS shell, a glass component and a silicone rubber material. Before testing the object, it is necessary to confirm that the measured objects are not harmful to these materials.
*Not suitable for measurement: oily samples, samples with higher viscosity, samples with more fine particles.
*Not suitable for non-aqueous titration.
*The head of the stainless steel spear tip is sharp. Please pay attention to safety when using it.

LoRa MESH Radio Module - 433MHz

INTRODUCTION

LoRa MESH Radio Module is a high performance, low power, long-range micro-power RF module, using a distributed ad-hoc network communication mode, embedded wireless MESH MANET protocols, users do not need to do anything modified to present devices, protocols, nor need for secondary development to module, but can easily implement wireless ad-hoc networks. RF chip module technology based on spread spectrum frequency hopping, spread spectrum calculations and leading internal automatic CRC error correction processing. The stability, anti-interference ability and receive sensitivity are better than other types of modules. Module also supports API mode, transparent mode and AT command mode, the user can configure our PC software, or send AT commands through the microcontroller, based on the parameters of the actual demand for flexible configuration of the module, simple operation, easy to use, strong adaptation.

LoRa Radio Module is a type of long range low data rate data radio modem based on Sx1276 from Semtech. It is a low-cost sub-1 GHz transceiver module designed for operations in the unlicensed ISM (Industrial Scientific Medical) and LPRD bands. Frequency spectrum modulation/demodulation, multi-channel operation, high bandwidth efficiency and anti-blocking performance make LoRa modules easy to realize the robust and reliable wireless link.

The module can work in two different modes: Standard mode and Star network mode. In the standard mode, it acts as transparent data radio modem which it communicates with the host at the preset data format without encoding / decoding needed. In start network mode, one module will be the configured to the central node and other modules are set to node modules. The communication between the central module and node module are bidirectional but the node modules can not talk with each other. Please note that the module doesn't contain lorawan protocol. Therefore the star network feature of this module is used with itself protocol so it is not compatible with lorawan.

Recommend USB to TTL Converter to set the module parameter, and Gravity IO Expansion Shield can directly work with the Lora modules.
