Lilypad Arduino Simple Board

INTRODUCTION

This is the LilyPad Arduino Simple Board. It's controlled by an ATmega328 with the Arduino bootloader. It has fewer pins than the LilyPad Arduino Main Board, a built in power supply socket, and an on/off switch. Any of our LiPo batteries can be plugged right into the socket. The Simple board is designed to streamline your next sewable project by keeping things simple and giving you more room to work  and eliminating the need to sew a power supply. This revision does away with the ISP header and adds a charging circuit based on the MCP73831 IC.

LilyPad is a wearable e-textile technology developed by Leah Buechley and cooperatively designed by Leah and SparkFun. Each LilyPad was creatively designed to have large connecting pads to allow them to be sewn into clothing. Various input, output, power, and sensor boards are available. They're even washable!

WiFi Shield V2.2 for Arduino (802.11 b/g/n)

INTRODUCTION

KDRobotKit is very proud to release this first 802 b/g/n wifi shield in the Arduino market. The arduino shield uses WizFi210 which  is a low power-consuming WIFI module which is applied with dynamic power management technology.  When the WIFI module needs to be on but not work, it can be set to Standby mode a low power mode, and the module just needs to be woken up when it has to work.
The WIFI wireless module is based on WizFi210. It provides the bridging from TTL serial port communication to IEEE802.11b/g/n wireless communication. So any device with TTL serial ports can easily be connected with this WIFI module and controlled and managed remotely through a wireless network. Different kinds of communication protocols and encryption algorithms are integrated with the module. The Arduino architecture enables you to easily integrate this module into any Arduino based project.

Gravity: IO Sensor Shield For Arduino Mega Due

INTRODUCTION

Say goodbye to messy cables and clueless pluging/unpluging! This  Sensor Shield  is a powerful expansion shield  for Arduino Mega Due. It is large enough to carry up to 3 Xbee slots, 1 microSD slot and shield headers for most Arduino shields on the market. Besides, we also added a prototyping area for convenience and adaptability for customized projects.

The breakouts for Digital pins are 14 to 53, Analog pins 6 to 15 and PWM pins 2 to 9. All pinout is a Gravity interface which allows plug-play of Gravity series sensors.  And standard Arduino UNO pinout is reserved to stack more Arduino Shield. This shield can really be a major communications hub or "Mothership" for your Arduino, robot or IOT projects. 

Each Xbee socket is connected to a different pin. Xbee socket 1 is connected to the main Serial port. While Xbee socket 2 to Serial1() and Xbee socket 3 to Serial2() on Arduino IDE.

The board has an integrated voltage regulator for 3.3v, a convenient reset push button topside and the standard on board LED that you can use for testing or debugging.

A external power connector for servos, as in other products of this family. If you need to power a large array of servos, use the screw terminals to connect your power supply and just drive it directly from your Mega.

The microSD will be great if you are planning on doing sensor monitoring for research and data gathering for your algorithms, increase your automatic systems performance with accumulated data.

USB-RLY16L(16 Low Power 8 channel relay outputs at 16A)

INTRODUCTION

A low power version of the USB-RLY16 module, the USB-RLY16L is powered solely from the USB bus and provides eight volt free contact relay outputs with a current rating of up to 16Amp each.  The relays are SPCO (Single Pole Change Over) types and provide position 0, position 1 and common pins (latching relays and have no "normally open" or "normally closed" contacts) on the screw terminals labeled as 0, C and 1 accordingly. The relays will also retain their state in the absence of power. 

 

The USB-RLY16L provides a red LED mounted immediately next to each relay to indicate whether it is in a position 1 state (LED on) or position 0 state (LED off).

XBoard V2 -A Bridge Between Home And Internet (Arduino Compatible)

INTRODUCTION

This is Version 2.0 of the Xboard. The main improvement is that it now operates at 5V, making it compatible with most sensors and I2C protocol without the need of a voltage level converter. 

 

The XBoard is a unique Arduino board which features a WIZnet ethernet port, an XBee socket, and an ATMega328. This board will add wireless XBee control as well as internet connectivity to your projects. It's great for anything from home automation to robot control. The possibilities are endless!

 

It has 8 Analog I/O pins and 8 digital pins, 4 of which have PWM (indicated by an asterisk). It is compatible with all XBee modules, and also comes with an integrated socket for APC220 RF Module or DF-Bluetooth Module. The XBoard can be programmed via an FTDI programmer or via the ICSP header. Power is provided through a Mini USB connector. You can setup a web server through which you may communicate with a remote Arduino using XBee radios, bluetooth or APC modules. This information can be posted to a web site,  Twitter or other services.

Energy Harvester - LTC3588 Breakout

INTRODUCTION

This breakout board uses the LTC3588 Piezoelectric Energy Harvester from Linear Technologies. This board can be used not only for harvesting piezoelectric energy, but solar energy as well. There is a bridge rectified input for piezo elements (PZ1 and PZ2) and a direct input (VIN) for DC sources. Both are clamped to 20V. In addition, the board can simply be used as a standalone nanopower buck regulator.

 

An ultralow quiescent current undervoltage lockout (UVLO) mode with a wide hysteresis window allows charge to accumulate on an input capacitor until the buck converter can efficiently  transfer a portion of the stored charge to the output. In regulation, the LTC3588 enters a sleep state in which both input and output quiescent currents are minimal. The buck converter turns on and off as needed to maintain regulation.

 

Four output voltages (1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V and 3.6V) are pin selectable with up to 100mA of continuous output current. However, the output capacitor may be sized to service a higher output current burst. An input protective shunt set at 20V enables greater energy storage for a given amount of input capacitance.
